They needed a service delivery model which provided those clients with a more tailored customer service offering as opposed to the ‘wholesale’ offering its larger contracts required.

The client decided a franchise delivery model would meet the needs better for those clients who required a service offering with a higher level of detail and account management, as they were able to deal directly with the owner (Franchisee).

The clients objective was to launch an automotive performance enhancing product into a reasonably established market.

The Challenge

The client wanted a fast national rollout but the cost of establishing business units in other territories and staffing was prohibitive. The nature of the service meant it could only be carried out by qualified mechanics.

Solution

A franchise model was developed that directly targeted established automotive repair businesses as a bolt-on offering. The model provided the client access to the existing businesses customer database through a qualified and highly motivated team of ‘sales people’ (the franchisee).

Franchisees were able to add an additional revenue stream without the need for expansion or expensive plant.
