Case Study #1
The client is a significant market leader in the facilities management sector, providing a full range of building maintenance services to both large and medium sized commercial businesses.
The client was experiencing high churn within its smaller sized clients which incidentally also delivered the best margin. They needed a service delivery model which provided those clients with a more tailored customer service offering as opposed to the ‘wholesale’ offering its larger contracts required.
The client decided a franchise delivery model would meet the needs better for those clients who required a service offering with a higher level of detail and account management, as they were able to deal directly with the owner (Franchisee).
The transition to a franchise model for these key accounts resulted in a significant increase in contract retention for the client, as well as a decrease in compliance and supervisory costs as the Franchisee was responsible for the day-to-day operations.

"Tereza has a strong, commercial understanding of franchising and developing robust, sustainable franchise systems and teams. Building a solid operational framework to support growth and performance for the business was a key focus, as was the Franchisee recruitment and onboarding process which was successfully implemented with Tereza’s support. I have no hesitation in recommending Tereza.” - J Fletcher
Case Study #2
The clients objective was to launch an automotive performance enhancing product into a reasonably established market.
The client wanted a fast national rollout but the cost of establishing business units in other territories and staffing was prohibitive. The nature of the service meant it could only be carried out by qualified mechanics.
A franchise model was developed that directly targeted established automotive repair businesses as a bolt-on offering. The model provided the client access to the existing businesses customer database through a qualified and highly motivated team of ‘sales people’ (the franchisee).
Franchisees were able to add an additional revenue stream without the need for expansion or expensive plant. With the development of effective marketing collateral strategically placed in reception areas, the brand is enjoying rapid market recognition and sales have continued to grow exponentially requiring Head Office to take on additional resource to meet product demand.

“We wanted to launch our business across New Zealand and Australia, we were sure that franchising was the right growth model, but we didn’t know how all the pieces would fit into that big picture.
We brought Tereza onboard from day one, she was able to assemble our ideas and objectives into a franchise framework and provided sound advice on structuring all area of the business to ensure the franchises would have both market appeal and commercial viability.
As a start-up, Tereza really listened to what we were trying to achieve and was able to provide advice and guidance where needed, ultimately resulting in the development of a very comprehensive operating system.
Our team appreciated Tereza’s down-to-earth approach to the entire process and found her easy to work with and very knowledgeable. The ongoing support Tereza has provided has been very valuable and with 11 franchises sold in our first year, we are well on track.” - J Peters
